A fresh graduate of Political Science and Public Administration from Imo State University, Owerri, Emeka Ndubueze aka Jboy has been shot dead.
Jboy’s killers, who are suspected student cultists shot the 22 year-old dead around 10.30pm on Wednesday night near Davida Hostel on Aladinma Street, popularly known as IMSU back gate.

The deceased, who was awaiting NYSC call-up letter following the completion of his entire course of study hailed from Amaigbo in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State.
A student source, who spoke to OrijoReporter on condition of anonymity traced Jboy’s killing to the prevailing bloody fight between rival cult groups in the school that has claimed many lives.
Confirming Jboy’s murder, IMSU Public Relations Officer, Obi Njoku, said the school management is assisting the police to bring the perpetrators to book.
