Embattled House of Representatives member, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, has dismissed reports in a section of the media that cocaine use has negatively affected his behaviour.

The sacked Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, took to his tweeter handle on Monday to rubbish claims of using cocaine.
Posting the result of drug tests, he surprisingly submitted himself to at the National Hospital, Abuja, Jibrin in a series of tweets also said mudslinging is part and parcel of politics.
Some of the tweets read: “7-my samples were taken and the results for all the various kinds of hard drugs including cocaine came out negative (see results attached)”
“24-They circulated in the media that I am under the influence of drugs, specifically cocaine. As politicians, we throw such mud at ourselves.”
“23-Finally, they moved on to what is probably their last resort since they could not find anything against me within or outside the House.”
