Lagos doctor goes missing

A female doctor in the employ of the Lagos State Government, Medinat Somuyiwa Iyabode, has been declared missing.

According to her family, who have been thrown into emotional turmoil, the 49 year-old was last seen on Thursday, March 25, at around 5.00pm in Oworonshoki where she was heading to New Garage, a neighbouring community.

She however lost in transit and didn’t arrive at the destination triggering all  raft of fears among her loved ones after she was unreachable as the manhunt launched for her including search conducted at her workplace, Gbaja Randle Hospital, Surulere came to nothing.

Report said the search was made difficult by the fact that she didn’t have her mobile phone with her when she was last seen.

“Medinat Somuyiwa Iyabode, a 49 year old Medical Doctor last seen at about 5pm on 25th March 2020. She was going from Oworonshoki to Lagos. She is about 5ft 8 inches tall, Wore a black hijab (Head Scaf), Wine flower design top and a Black trouser.
