The conflicting names in the educational qualifications Degi-Eremienyo paraded cost Lyon and him their victory at the poll in the Supreme Court with the apex court invalidating the votes caste for them in an unanimous decision 24 hours to their ill-fated swearing in.

Against the backdrop of the decision, PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus in an interview with Punchng.com urged the federal government and the police to arrest Degi-Eremienyo and charge him with forgery while he is also made to leave the Senate where he currently represents Bayelsa East.

“The police and the Federal Government should urgently arraign the running mate (Kuma) and charge him for forgery. He should also leave the Senate and allow a new election to be conducted for the position,” he told the paper.
