Woman whose baby was stolen at Pastor Bakare’s church speaks again

For eighteen months Mrs Kehinde Igwe has been left in distraught by abductors, who under the guise of worshipping abducted her four years old daughter, Goodness, at Pastor Tunde Bakare’s Latter Rain at Akilo area of Lagos during the church service.

Mrs. Igwe was in the church with her husband, a commercial tricycle rider, and Goodness when the little girl was abducted. To add insult to their injuries, some undesirable elements, who are now facing prosecution for 419 following their arrest posed as the abductors demanded ransom, which they were obliged.

About two years into Goodness’ missing her mother is still hopeful of reuniting with her, banking on Pastor Bakare’s prophesy.

She told Vanguard:  “Nothing will make me leave the church where I have been worshiping for the past 23 years. My pastor is a prophet and has assured us the girl will be found; so, who am I to doubt God?”
