Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been named the ninth best player in the English Premier League by Sky Sports Power Rankings.

The Sky Sports Power Rankings is updated every week during the season, and it reflects a player’s performance over the last five match days by awarding points to players for 32 different stats.
And according to the latest rankings, Ndidi moved up from 13th to ninth after accumulating 6,747 points to get into the top 10 of the rankings.
Ndidi’s Leicester teammate, Riyad Mahrez, occupies the number one position after scoring his third goal in four games during a 4-1 win at Southampton on Wednesday to top the chart for the first time in nearly two years with 10,028 points.
Other players in the top 10 Sky Sports Power Rankings include Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne who remains at number two, David Silva of also of Manchester City in third, Harry Kane of Tottemhan Hotspur in fourth and Manchester United’s David De Gea in fifth.
Included also are Spurs’ Heung-Min Son (sixth), Leicester’s Shinji Okazaki (seventh), Nicolas Otamendi of City (Eight) and Wayne Rooney of Everton (10th).
