Wife of an allegedly cheating husband in Benue State has been accused of conspiring with her relations to kill her husband, and dumped his corpse in a river.
Late Godwin Abuul(pictured) was a lecturer at College of Education Oju, Benue State in the Theatre Arts Department, and had a troubled marriage due to suspicion and mutual hatred.
“If a man expects a woman to be an angel in his life, he must first create heaven for her. Angels don’t live in hell,” the father-of-two posted on his facebook account on November 25, 2015, in apparent effort to improve relationship between him and his wife(name withheld).
Sources told OrijoReporter that the deceased usually spent the weekend the with his family, who are based in Gboko where he hailed from because of his lecturing job at Oju.
However, the couple were said to engage in quarrel frequently over alleged infidelity on Abuul’s part. It was said that he was known to be a randy lecturer at the State-owned College of Education.

“Strangely, he went missing with his Honda car two weeks ago after he left home for Katsina/Ala on a private visit. And three days back, a man was arrested after he was caught driving the car.
“The suspect under interrogation said he bought the car at N650,000. Subsequently, the car seller was arrested and during questioning he said N400, 000 was given to Abuul’s widow from the proceeds, and she was arrested.
“She explained to the police how she conspired with her brothers to kill her husband and dumped his body in River Katsina/Ala,” sources narrated.
