Spanish sports newspaper Marca reported that Arsene Wenger refused to let Mourinho sit next to him at UEFA conference after the Manchester United boss arrived late at a speech being delivered by one of his Old Trafford predecessors, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Quoting Marca, UK Telegraph says that Mourinho reportedly asked Wenger if he could sit in one of the few empty seats next to him but without batting an eyelid, the Arsenal boss replied: “No, it isn’t possible.”
According to the report, after hearing Wenger’s reply to Mourinho’s polite request, other managers in attendance, among them Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery and Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane erupted into laughter.
