Ambode gives late actor’s widow N1m

Widow of late actor, Obi Madubogwu, Uju Ngozi Madubogwu, has been given a cheque of N1,000,000(One Million Naira) by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.

Late Madubogwu, who rose to fame when he played the lead role in ‘Battle of Musanga’ died of diabetes on August 28, 2017.

Actor turned lawmaker, Hon. Desmond Elliot, on behalf of Gov. Ambode presented the cheque to Mrs. Madubogwu last Thursday.

Reportedly present at the presentation were Nobert Ajaegbu, a popular lawyer and movie marketer, who was a close friend of the deceased.

Late Madubogwu was on November 10, committed to mother earth at Nkwere Ogidi, Anambra State where he hailed from.
