Two Alfas implicated in killing of woman for ritual

A man arrested in Badagry on Sunday for being in possession of a female body part has confessed to killing his victim with the help of two Muslim clerics, and a herbalist, who are presently at large.

The suspect, Taofik Adara aka Kie-Kie(pictured) was paraded at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja on Wednesday during which he explained how he chopped off the woman’s head with a cutlass, while two alfas and a herbalist held her hands.

Adara, 61, said their victim was hypnotised and was brought to him by the alfas, who needed fresh human parts to prepare a concoction for their client to help kill and dismember her body.

He disclosed that he was paid N4,000(Four thousand naira) for the job.

“On Saturday evening one of my herbalist friends known as Manase told me that he was expecting two alfas from Sango Ota. He said they would be coming with a lady and that he would pay me N4000 to help butcher the woman. He told me that the two alfas needed some fresh human parts to prepare a concoction for one of their clients,” the suspect, who assists owners of coconut plantation to pluck coconut told newsmen.

The suspect revealed that he has two wives and fifteen children.
