Traditional Religion Worshippers Association, State of Osun, the umbrella body of Ifa worshippers, have revealed that they are making efforts to put a stop to the ongoing war of religions in Osun State occasioned by the judgement of the state high court in favour of a case instituted by Osun State Muslim Community against the State Government on the right of female Muslim students in public schools in the state to use hijab on their school uniforms.OSUN 2

On Tuesday, drama ensued in most public schools as some Christian students wore church garments including white celestial church suntana, choir gowns, just as some female students who are Muslims wore Hijab on their uniforms.

  1. Obviously, the Governor, having failed in his duty of governance, has succeeded in using “Religion as the opium of the masses”, to create a clever diversion and “something to chew-on”…….. while he winds down the time, with his inept and clueless mis-governance.

Religion should be a “private issue” and should never be imposed in the public arena, much less an education institution.
A School Uniform should be an “official garb” without any recourse to any of the religions.
