The family of late Toju Davies Daibo, said the report that the 21-year-old jumped to death from Third Mainland Bridge did not gain traction with them.
Toju, a fresh graduate awaiting National Youth Service Corps call-up letter last Saturday boarded a Uber cab from Gbagada but on reaching the Third Mainland Bridge allegedly asked the driver to pull over to ease himself only to jump into the lagoon.
But the bereaved family have expressed their doubt about the reported circumstances surrounding Tolu’s death in separate interviews both his mother and sister, Omasan, granted Channels Television.
Instead, they suspected foul play, and called on the police to launch investigation into his death with his distraught mother saying: “We have not heard anything from the police. His body has not been found and I want them to find him; everybody is just keeping quiet as if he does not have people. Toju is somebody; he has a family. They should find him, where is he? What happened to him? Where is Toju?”
