Timothy Weah, son of former World Footballer of the Year, George Weah may have chosen to play for United State ahead of Liberia where his famous father is currently the president.
Timothy made his international debut for the US as they beat Paraguay 1-0 in a friendly on Tuesday in North Carolina as he came on as an 86th minute substitute.
The youngster made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain on March 3, less than two weeks after his 18th birthday.
Timothy was born in New York and moved to PSG from New York Red Bulls in 2014.
However, the teenage sensation can still play for Liberia since the match between the US and Paraguay was a friendly.
