This is the first picture of Tanko Amfani, an official of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, who was killed in the line of duty by drug traffickers on Friday.

“The officer that was killed, Mr. Tanko Amfani, was in company of his colleagues while coming back from Rano Local Government Area on a mission to arrest some suspected drug traffickers.
“But unfortunately, they were attacked in the early hours of Thursday,” NDLEA’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Col. Mustapha Abdullah (retd), had said of the sad incident while addressing officers in Kano command.
The Commander, Kano state command of the NDLEA Alh. Hamza Umar told journalists that the late officer who was shut from behind had the bullets gushed out through his chest had since buried according to Islamic rite at his Zuru in Kebbi state.
