Over N50M recovered from suspects who stole Saraki’s money
Detectives in Kwara State had recovered over fifty million naira from the suspects who stole money at Dr. Bukola Saraki Country’s home in Ilorin.

The Senate President, had in may alleged that N12M was carted away from his Ilofa road country home in Ilorin by some domestic staff.
Sources close to OrijoReporter confirmed that the suspects were arrested and drilled on the order of the Senate President, and confessed committing to the crime upon series of interrogations.
Saraki had expressed concern over the character of his domestic staff who were in the habit of stealing from his save.
It was further gathered that Saraki was far from the truth as over N300M in hard currency was carted away from his home.
The suspects, the source revealed could not agree on the sharing formula as one claimed that he had access to the money while others claimed that he is a security guard among other domestic staffers in the house, which led one of them to report the theft to Saraki’s aides.
Confirming the arrest, one of the parent of the suspect who resides in Gambari area of Ilorin said, “We have been making efforts to send emissary to Saraki on the matter with a view to amicably settled the matter but all efforts had met a brick walls.”
When contacted the State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), a deputy superintendent of Police, (DSP) Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the recovery of part of the money but was not specific about the actual amount.
