Another Edo Socialite, Success Uwuigbe, currently on the run for gay practice

In what marked a rise in gay practice in Edo State and the determination of the Police in the state to clampdown on gays, the Police in the state has declared one Mr. Success Uwuigbe wanted for alleged homosexual activities.

Mr. Success Uwuigbe was declared wanted upon his refusal to turn himself in to the police to clear his name, OrijoReporters exclusively gathered.
 
When our correspondent visited the family residence of the Uwuigbe in Erhunwunse area of Benin City the apartment looked deserted.
 
Neighbours who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity said Mr Success Uwuigbe have not been seen for years. They also confirmed several police raid on the residence in a bid to apprehend Success Uwuigbe.
 
OrijoReporter learnt that trouble started for Mr. Success Uwuigbe when a member of Omega Outreach Ministry in Benin City reported a homosexual prayer session involving one Mrs. Uwuigbe (Mother of Mr. Success) to the police command.
 
Further investigations revealed that Mr. Success Uwuigbe has been involved in homosexual activities in and outside Nigeria for an unknown period of time.
 
While declaring him wanted, Public Relations Office of the Edo State Police Command, Iheanacho Emeka, an Assitant Suprintendent of Police, ASP, stated that “The earlier he turns himself in the better as there is currently no hiding place in Nigeria for homosexuality.
 
OrijoReporter further gathered that, the presiding Pastor of Omega Outreach Ministry, Pastor Timothy Ehimen, was questioned on what he knows about the case.
 
Though Pastor Ehimen refused to divulge the details of his interactions with the Police, he confirmed that he was interrogated by detectives from the Edo State Police Command.
