Senate removes Melaye’s profile on its website

Following series of tweets by Sahara Reporters alleging that Senator Dino Melaye forged his first degree certificate the Senate under the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki has altered Melaye’s profile on its official website.

Melaye’s trouble started when Sahara Reporters on its twitter handle tweeted that the Kogi-born senator did not graduate from Ahmadu Bello University claiming he failed GENS 201, GEOG 307 (Long Field Trip Course), GEOG 404, GEOG 411 and GEOG 426.

But despite Melaye’s rebuttal of the allegation by the online medium, the senate has removed the dates of his graduation in his profile on Senate’s website leaving the space blank.
