The eight-man committee constituted to investigate the allegation by Speaker of the House, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, is to determine the truth or otherwise of the allegation against the emir.
The panel was constituted on Wednesday following a point of order by a member representing Nasarawa constituency, Mr Ibrahim Ahmad Gama.
Hon. Gama and his colleagues accused Sanusi of carrying dirty rumour about the journey Gov. Ganduje and some officials of the state made to China in view of the proposed light rail transport system in the state.
They also accused the emir of attacking President Muhammadu Buhari’s policies just as they alleged that the emirate under his leadership spent funds without the approval of the governor and the Assembly.
