Rio Olympic: Brazil is not safe, football legend warns
Brazilian football legend, Rivaldo has warned tourists against traveling to Brazil for the Rio Olympic scheduled for August 5-21, 2016.
The former Spanish giant, Barcelona FC winger’s warning is coming on the heels of the murder of a 17-year-old, Ana Beatriz Pereira Frade, who was shot on Saturday morning in Rio by an armed gang on a main road known as the Yellow Line road connecting the city’s international airport with most of the Olympic venues.
Taking to his Instagram handle to sound the alarm, Rivaldo, who played 74 times for Brazil senior national team in a post said: ‘I urge all of you who are planning on visiting Brazil or coming for the Olympic Games this summer to stay in your countries. You are putting your life at risk here.’
