Ali modu accuses Prof. Gana of N500m fraud
National Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff, has accused former Information Minister, Prof. Jerry Gana of N500m fraud.
In a chat with newsmen at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, Sheriff’s media adviser, Inuwa Bwala, reacting to Gana’s apparent reference to Sheriff as criminal at the Concerned PDP’s Stakeholders Forum earlier held, alleged that Gana fraudulently obtained a loan from a bank on behalf of PDP without the approval of the party leadership.
Bwala said further, “It would be foolhardy for the PDP chairman to involve the same people who led the PDP to failure in the 2015 general elections in rebuilding the party. These are the same people that played ignoble roles in squandering the resources of the party.
“Let it be known to Prof. Gana and members of his group that they don’t have the monopoly of mudslinging. If we are forced to open up on them, we will not hesitate to do so.”
