Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Kyari, last week was at the burial ceremony of Gov. Bello’s mother in Kogi days after arriving from Germany, one of the hotbeds of the pandemic.

The pictures(above and below) of him and the governor alongside the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Buhari, Shehu, at the occasion have surfaced online.

Amid the disease outbreak, Shehu, an old student of Barewa College, Zaria, invited the general public to his alma mater’s programme last week via a tweet: “Please find time to join us at the Barewa Old Boys Association (BOBA), 2020 Annual Leadership Lecture, where I will be speaking on “Media and Democracy: Challenge of Journalism”.

“His Excellency, Governor Nasir @elrufai is expected to Chair the occasion, with the Ministers of Defence and FCT as special guests.”

The invitation drew him backlash online with many people accusing him of insensitive to prevailing global health challenge.
