Gov. Ganduje reacts to photos of him  sleeping at several public functions

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has been snapped several times at public functions taking a nap.

And some of the photos of Gov. Ganduje sleeping at functions have gone viral with several commentators pouring vitriolic attacks on, photos of  Gov. Ganduje sleeping at functions

Following the controversy the photos generated both online and offline, particularly the one snapped on May 1, during the Workers’ Day, Gov. Ganduje has eventually responded.

He said, “My opponents always complain that I sleep at public functions but I want them to try and differentiate between pretending to be asleep or sleeping truly. Political blackmail is not an issue to me because I am used to it and will continue to work for the good people of the state.”‎
