A 70-year-old pastor in United States was on Sunday shot dead in his church by his younger brother.
The deceased Rev. William Schooler was shot and killed in his church office at Ohio by his 68-year-old younger brother, Daniel Gregory Schooler towards the tail end of the church service.
The accused who has been arrested according to reports, had a long history of violence, and was said to have mental problem.
In an online report by American Dayton Daily News, in 2001, Daniel Schooler was jailed for five years after he was convicted of felonious assault.
In May 2002, he attacked a 27-year-old woman at a home, hit, kicked, bit her, cut her with a small knife and threatened her 4-year-old son.
He was convicted of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and spent two years in prison.
Other incidents include an attack on a friend with a golf club in 2007, and an alleged assault with a hammer and knife in January 2008, the newspaper reported.
