Following a tip off, a team of police officers, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officials stormed the residence and rescued Korede from where he had been chained to a heavy log for more than a month by his father, Pastor Taiwo Francis of The Key of Joy Celestial Church.

The father from hell, who has been on the run, and his wife, who is in police custody also denied Korede of food, thus, he became malnourished.

Confirming the incident, police spokesman in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi said, “The police operatives, who got a tip-off from a neighbour in the community, swung into action and moved to the said church where the victimised young Korede was chained and rescued him.

“He has been treated and discharged, and is now receiving every necessary attention from the police personnel in the Onipanu Division. And will soon be handed over to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Ogun State for necessary action.”
