It is a shame, Oshiomhole abuses Sports minister
The Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, on Saturday at the 4th Okpekpe 10km Race in Edo threw a verbal abuse at the Sports Minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung.
Oshiomole, who expressed his shock at Dalung’s absence at the annual international marathon event, said the sports minister was not committed to the development of sports in the grassroots.
He said:“Today we don’t have the privilege of hosting the Minister and I think that was a shame.
“Nigerians in rural area are the forgotten majority, the minister must not sit in the comfort of an office and sermonise sports. We must live by example, that’s why I came to show that when those young men are running, we elders can run too.”
