Oritsefemi earlier this morning went online to post a picture of his wrecked N24m Range Rover Evogue given to him by his new record label, the Avater last week. An occurrence inside sources claimed it was a publicity stunt.
Sources in the know, said the Double wahala crooner stage-managed the accident so as to generate publicity for his brand.
The phony accident according to Oritsefemi’s publicity, Teejay occurred at Surulere in Lagos Central but one of the car’s occupants, the artiste’s manager, Danku who drove was allegedly rushed to a hospital at Abule-Egba in Lagos West.
Apparently, Danku posed on the bed pretending to be seriously injured with his friends taking stage pictures for the DP’s so it could go viral.
Oritsefemi never went to the hospital, he went straight home, the source said, emphasising why the artiste would have left for home, if truly his manager who doubled as his driver that night was really injured as they claimed.
According to his camp, the artiste and his manager were going for a meeting when suddenly a group of robbers started chasing them at the ungodly hour in a bid to snatch the car from them, before the accident occurred.
However, it was gathered that Oritsefemi pulled a stunt with the accident because the car was a gift from his record label and didn’t buy it with his hard earned money.
