Muslim Cleric arrested for sleeping with childless women, dupes them out of millions

A fraudster operating under the guise of an Islamic cleric, Oladele Ayuba, aka Young, has been arrested by the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, for swindling his customers, among them women searching for fruit of the womb, some of whom he allegedly slept with.

Ayuba who hails from Ilorin, the Kwara State capital but is based at Arigidi-Akoko area of Akoko North West of Ondo State, was at the weekend paraded by the NSCDC alongside two of his accomplices, Abiodun Oluwaseun and Jayeola Tosin.

According to Corps Commandant, Pedro Awili Ideba, the suspects’ modus operandi were to hypnotise their victims, and defraud them of their money using series of tricks.

Ideba said not few persons, who either went to them for prayer or were lured into it by the scammers’ agents had been duped saying victims were fleeced between N300, 000 to N36m.

The suspects were also linked to some kidnap incidents that took place in the area and were arrested after they defrauded one Tajudeen Ekundayo of N4.3m.
