Recall that late Yusuf, who founded Oko-Oloyun Worldwide and De-Fayus International, manufacturer of popular Yoyo Bitters and Fijk Flusher among other herbal products, recently started a Ponzi scheme business by the name, Option C.
Not few people signed up for the scheme which promises ten percent returns on investment every two-month but reportedly failed to deliver in recent time.
Upon the killing of the founder on Thursday evening along Igbo-Ora-Eruwa Road in Oyo State, tens of investors stormed the LASU Road office of the deceased with the view to recoup their investments but were said to have met the place under lock and key.
Disclosure by his bereaved son, has indicated that the killing may not be unconnected with event in the slain businessman’s office.
“In the morning of the day he was assassinated, some of his workers set fire to important office records. He was in a hotel in Ogun State when he got a call from my mother around 7am that some files had been burnt. I don’t know the amount involved in the fraud but it must be something huge for those involved to return,” Punchng.com quoted a male child of the deceased who spoke to the paper on condition of anonymity as saying.
