OJB Jezreel is dead

Music producer Babatunde Okungbowa better known as OJB Jezreel is dead.

OJB Jezreel died from chronic kidney disease in the early hours of Tuesday, a month to his 50th birthday.
The producer had successful kidney transplant in an India hospital in 2013.

Married to three wives(pictured right with him), his first wife, Mabel Okungbowa aka Mama J, donated one of her kidneys to him and they were together in the Indian hospital. His other two wives are, June ‘Ama’ and Korede.OrijoReporter.com, OJB Jezreel is dead

However, the transplant sometime failed, and the father-of-eight had been living on dialysis but stopped it recently due to financial challenges.


In 2015, he denied media reports that his kidney problem resurfaced in a broadcast message.

“Hi my name is Babatunde okungbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel. I’d like to set the record straight, am at home and healthy with my family going about my normal business. Obviously bloggers don’t research before they post. If they did they would know that a transplant patient will always do routine checkups cus of infections etc. Mmmm nuff said am sure hiptv, orisun tv,encomium,el tv and black jerzie seeing and speaking with me in the past 2 weeks. Wasn’t on a hospital bed or in one! Research proper if it’s gossip worthy or not,” he said,
