Oba Akiolu endorses Ambode  for  second term

The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has endorsed Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for second term calling on all Lagos politicians to support him.

Oba Akiolu who spoke at 21st convocation ceremony of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, said that any politician who contests against Ambode come 2019 will waste his money.

The monarch who stated that it was God that appointed leaders, however, enjoined all politicians in the state to support the re-election of Gov. Ambode and his deputy come 2019.

Recall that during the 2015 general election, Oba Akiolu threatened to kill any Igbo man or woman who voted against the then governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode with black magic.

He made the threat in his palace in a meeting with the Eze-Ndigbo in Lagos State.
