Controversy over death of Gov. Dickson’s ex-adviser in Patience Jonathan’s hotel

Controversy is trailing the death of a former Senior Special Assistant on Youth Development to Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, Nasko Egei, who was found dead in a room at Aridolf Resort Wellness and Spa, a hotel owned by former First Lady, Patience Jonathan.

The deceased, a father of two, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for APC in the run up to the 2015 election, and had signified intention to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly come 2019.

Egei’s dream was cut short by his death on Friday at the hotel located at Isaac Boro Expressway, Yenagoa, where he was founded dead in a room after the door was forced opened by the hotel staff.

Controversy has surrounded the circumstances of his death with conflicting claims. A report claimed it was a natural death while another suspected foul play.

It was gathered that his bereaved family were hell bent on knowing the cause of his death and have ordered an autopsy for the deceased.
