Mystery surrounds death of  student found dead in front of hostel

A National Diploma student of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Auwal Shehu, has been found dead in front of one of the school’s hostel.

Shehu, who was in ND two student studying Civil Engineering was found dead on Tuesday morning, April 25. The deceased’s schoolmates woke up to find his lifeless body in front of the boys’ hostel.


And about 72hours after Shehu’s body was discovered questions still surround his death.

According to a report, a section of school’s students suggested that he fell off the second floor of the hostel when he was reading in the night while another said he slumped to death while returning to the hostel from lecture room.

The deceased, who hailed from Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State, was writing exam and had two papers on the day his untimely death occurred.
