Mrs. Oba was arrested on Monday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, around 12.00pm moment after arriving from Dubai in company of her husband, three children and a house help.

She got into trouble with EFCC in the process of the anti-graft agency’s investigation of her sister, the immediate past first lady, during which a combined balance of N3bn suspected to be proceeds of fraud was traced to account linked to the former in Skye Bank, Stanbic IBTC, Diamond Bank  and Ecobank.

The suspect, according to source, told interrogators she didn’t know how the monies got into the accounts, saying only her late brother, Engr. Lazarus Iwari Kalama Sokobe, who died last year’s November was in the best position to speak to that effect and he is no more.
