Mrs. Olakunri, daughter of factional national leader of apex Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, was gruesomely killed by suspected marauding Fulani herdsmen last Friday along Ore-Shagamu expressway sparking outrage.

Her distraught widower who had maintained sealed lips, found his voice in an interview he granted The Guardian.

“I will miss Funke so much, no one on earth can fill the space she has left in my life, that of the children and family.

“She is an easy-going person, good and dutiful, always committed to achieve whatever she wants to achieve, leaving no stone unturned,” he told the paper.
