MEDICAL STUDENT COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER UNIVERSITY EXPELLED HIM

A dismissed medical student, Nicholas Idoko, has committed suicide using his car two days after Benue State University expelled him for failing to pass a compulsory course.

Nicholas(pictured) had spent 10 years in the university studying medicine, a six-year course.

But on Thursday he received news of his dismissal from the school authority following his failure to pass a compulsory course over the years.idoko 4

A very bad music to Nicholas’ ears, sources told OrijoReporter that he was emotionally distraught and told his friends he was contemplating suicide because he would not be able to stand the shame his dismissal would bring to his family.

He carried out the threat on Saturday when he got heavily drunk, jumped into his Honda car(both pictured), and on top speed without using his seat belt, crashed his car at Abu King Shuluwa Road, Makurdi and slammed it into a pedestrian.

Nicholas Idoko and the pedestrian simply identified as Bagu died on the spot.
