Medical doctor killed in ritual ceremony

A medical doctor with the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Dr. Thomas Adekoya-Cole, was on Sunday murdered in the Itele area of Ijebu, Ogun State, by suspected hoodlums.
The 60-year-old, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with LUTH, from the report by Punch, deductively was an Ogun worshipper(the god of iron), and was abducted in his Ijebu-home at Itele area on Sunday having left Lagos to attend an Ogun ceremony at Itele in Ijebu-East Local Area of the state, which was held the previous day.

MEDICAL DOCTOR CAUGHT WRITING JAMB EXAM FOR WIFE

The report says that hoodlums had on Saturday stormed Akongi Street at Itele, and wreaked havoc where some traditional worshipers were holding rites including Dr. Adekoya-Cole, killing a worshipper identified as Omotayo Ogunbowale.

It was reported that they returned in the morning on Sunday, abducted Dr. Adekoya-Cole in his house, and hacked him to death.
