Man who slashed his wife’s throat dies
Jafaru Esougie, the man, who allegedly killed his wife, Rosaline, after slashing her throat at Oshodi area of Lagos State is dead.
The 49-year-old allegedly killed his wife of 26 years, who bore him five children at their rented apartment at Araromi Street around Oshodi while the deceased was fast asleep in the middle of the night on May 26.
He died on Friday at the Police Hospital, Ikeja, where he was admitted to after he murdered his wife and poisoned himself.
The 49 year old had been in critical condition since then and never came out of it.
It was reported that he died early Friday morning.
