A Hausa/Fulani butcher was caught on 12th of November 2016, at Ogbete main market in Enugu, stealing 22 pounds of meat at the market abattoir located at Akwata.

The unnamed butcher(pictured) stole meat from a warehouse after a witch-doctor sold him a charm he claimed would make him invisible, report said.
It was said the thieving butcher had perpetrated the evil act all along until nemesis caught up with him after other butchers launched massive search operation to unravel the person or group of persons behind constant stealing of meats in warehouse in the market abattoir.
Their search paid off last week when they caught a colleague of theirs in the act.
While they were beating him up, his clothes got torn and charms he tied on his legs and hands caught the mob’s eyes, it was said.
