Parading the 23 years old last week at the Command headquarters in Kaduna, Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu said Abubakar was arrested alongside three suspects three others who specialize in printing fake Nigerian currencies.

According to CP Umar, “The lady suspected the money to be fake and raised alarm, which attracted people around to call the police. During interrogation, the suspect confessed that the counterfeit currencies were given to him by one Sabo Umar and this led to his arrest.

“Sabo mentioned one David Kwambe, 37 year’s old, of Flat A, Block 6, of Gaduwa Estate, Abuja and their printer. The said printer was arrested with N60,000 of fake N500 denomination. All the suspects confessed to the crime.”
