Ex-Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, has resigned from the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) at Kuru, Jos, Plateau State.
Obadiah was an official at the national institute until his resignation on the back of his run-in with the Department of State Security Services, DSS, over his comment on Nigeria Info 99.3 wherein he alleged an unnamed governor of being a leader of Islamic terrorists’ group, Boko Haram.
Sequel, the ex-CBN bigshot has been in and out of DSS office for questioning.
His resignation may not be unconnected to the issue.
