A Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos on Tuesday dissolved the marriage between a former member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Leonard Dilkon, and his wife, Joy.
Joy had filed for divorce asking the court to dissolve the marriage on the ground that she was no more in love with her husband.

However, the former lawmaker(pictured), who did not oppose the plea of the mother-of-three for divorce, accused her of committing adultery with her Pastor, Danjuma Fwenji to the point the latter impregnated her, and filed a petition before the court about it.
Delivering judgement on Tuesday, Justice David Mann of High Court III granted Joy’s plea , and dissolved the marriage.
The judge, however, declared that Dilkon failed to substantiate his claim of adultery against his estranged wife, saying, “I hereby declare that Dilkon’s claim of adultery has failed and therefore is struck out.”
