The Lagos State Government has captured the lion domesticated by an Indian at Muri Okunola Street in Victoria Island area of Lagos.
The lion was used by its Indian owner to guard his residence. It was however, thrust into the limelight after neighbours petitioned the Lagos state government.
On Monday, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit ostensibly with vet doctor(s) captured the lion after sedating it.
Three workers in the house were also arrested while the owner was yet to honour the invitation by the police.
