The Lagos State Government has announced its installation of free Wi-Fi in all the parks in the state to enable residents have free access to internet service.
The state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, made this known at Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa, Ikeja, while unveiling the Free Public Wi-Fi.

Gov. Ambode said the project was one of the programmes the state lined up to mark its 50th years anniversary saying the increase in the patronage of parks and gardens across the state informed his government’s decision to equip the centres with free Wi-Fi to serve the needs of visitors in the parks.
His word, “Parks and gardens are established to provide conducive environment for recreation and relaxation activities. As you relax and enjoy the recreational facilities in these parks, we are making it possible for you to access your mail, browse and search the internet on your tablets, smart phones and laptops via a reliable public Wi-Fi.”
