A couple in the Eti-Osa area of Lagos were unable to get married at the registry on Thursday following the ongoing nationwide strike by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).
The couple in an interview with BBC News Pidgin spoke of their plight adding that their entreaties to court officials to conduct the marriage for them fell on deaf ears.
