JSS 2 Student killed by Gov. Al-makura’s son was parents only child – Source

Late Master Amos Oveh, a Junior Secondary School student of Government Science School, Lafia, who Khali Al-makura, son of Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-makura killed on March 19, 2017, was the only child of his parents.

The governor’s son was returning from night club on a Sunday night. Heavily drunk and driving he rammed his car into Amos, a JSS 2 student.

Late Amos who died on the spot was a boarding student of Government Science School, and had gone out of the school to buy battery for his lamp due to power outage.

Investigation revealed that the deceased was the only child of his parents and his demise is traumatising his bereaved parents. It is said that the mother developed high blood pressure following the incident, while the father was yet to pull himself together.

The late teenage student was buried at Mada Station village of Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state on Monday March 20.
