Ken Saro-Wiwa’s Son dies of stroke at 47

Son of renowned environmental activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr has died of stroke in London.

Saro-Wiwa Jr died almost 21 years after his father was hanged to death by the military dictatorship of General Sani Abacha.

A journalist, the deceased was Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society and International Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan

“It is with great sadness that we announce that Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr passed away suddenly. His family are devastated and request privacy at this difficult time,” sister to the deceased, Noo Saro-Wiwa told BBC.
