Adeshina’s outburst followed from a statement he released sequel to presidential tribunal’s affirmation of Buhari’s election in which he said the president did not panic ahead of the judgment.
However, Buhari contradicted his spokesman when he received chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at Aso Villa.
The president disclosed that he was in panic mode and had to bury himself in attending to files to ease the tension, a revelation that prompted Punch to publish a story where it claimed Adesina’s statement was never approved by the presidency.
