Leicester fans blame Jamie Vardy’s wife for hubby’s impending move to Arsenal

Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah has been involved in a Twitter spat with Leicester City fans over claims the striker could be moving to London and joining Arsenal next season for £20 million.

Reports claimed Arsene Wenger was willing to offer Vardy £120,000-a-week as he attempts to bring the Premier League title to the Emirates Stadium for the first time.vardy 9

Vardy scored 24 goals in the league last season and was instrumental in Leicester City’s unlikely league success.

However, some Leicester fans reacted angrily to news that Arsenal have reportedly triggered the 29-year-old striker’s release clause with their offer.

Responding to the criticism, Mrs. Vardy tweeted: ‘Listen LCFC fans, don’t come at me with abuse! I have nothing whatsoever to do with calling the shots in my husband’s career! It’s unfair.’

Later she wrote: ‘Right, I’m off for a nice family day with my husband… you lot can crack on!’ Enjoy your day everyone.’
