Social critic cum politician, Dr. Mohammed Junaidu has attacked the media aides of President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu describing them as “small boys and hustlers hanging around the president.”

Recall the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Shehu recently lashed out at the Second Republic House of Representative.

“A cursory library search will reveal that this man has nurtured the habit of insulting every leader this country has produced in his time. Like a narcissist, he is just interested in grabbing headlines. Without publicity, Dr. Junaidu would probably give up on life,” Shehu said of Junaidu.

Indirectly referring to Shehu’s comment about him, Junaidu who claimed that he has insider knowledge of happenings in the presidency told Punch that the President’s media minders knew nothing about Buhari’s health.

His word, “But you know, small boys and hustlers hanging around the president just dabble into matters which are delicate. Any idiot can grab a sheet of paper, sit behind the typewriter or a little laptop and issue a statement on behalf of his boss. When talking about the state of health of the President, it has to be convincing, it has to be the truth, it cannot be manipulated if you are not a medical doctor.”

Speaking further, Junaidu lent his voice to controversy surrounding Buhari’s school certificate.

“Besides, I am eminently qualified to aspire for any office in the land by educational achievement and experience in public life and certainly more qualified than Buhari who could not pass school certificate. And up till today, he has not been able to convince Nigerians that he was able to pass school certificate. He has chosen to take the country on a judicial merry go round putting the case on and off until his term expires,” he told the paper.
