Oba Ogunwusi who stated that he began to shoulder the triple burden of a family man, schooling and working at a tender age said he survived difficulty times right from the moment he was born.
“About the time i was born, a relation died and my mother was not there for me for some days, yet i survived.
“I had my first child when i was 19, and had to fend for my child and still go to school.”
When asked how he became so rich early in life, Oba Ogunwusi said: “I have four guardian spirits that are always with me. I started business early, and i don’t believe in failure. I believe if you give me a place to stand, i will move the rock. I like to make the impossible possible. My driving force is power of imagination.
“I didn’t want to be ooni for my sake alone. We are set to bring modernity, social upliftment and economy development to Ile-Ife. I am currently building a resort in Ife, the biggest in West Africa.”
